5月6日，浙江美術館將迎來題為“蒼莽氣象”的大型洪凌個展，“蒼莽”一詞，意源自“東臨碣石，以觀滄�！�，描述藝術家洪凌在探索獨特藝術語言時的心境和表達藝術的氣勢。

洪凌，這位出生于上世紀50年代中期傳統書香門第的藝術家，在藝術探索的道路上先后經歷了幾次不同語境的轉換。幼年時期受到黃賓虹傳統山水畫中的偉大山水精神的熏陶；少年藝術求學時期對于西方藝術語言的深入洞察與探討；之后便是在東方和西方藝術語言之間的徘徊與躊躇。洪凌無法從任何當代油畫家中獲得教益，一切都是從頭做起，于是在苦悶的尋求之中，藝術家又經歷了從北方到南方的遷徙，退隱獨居于皖南，以天地為師，與山林為伴，這是一次對于東方文化感受的深刻回歸，洪凌的心境終于變得踏實而敏捷，越發能領悟到山水精神的真諦。在皖南的十幾年創作中，洪凌的藝術修為也上升到了另一個高度，他的作品不簡單的表現客觀物象，而是將客觀存在升華為腦中的理解之后的圖像，藝術家常常帶著夢的囈語用微醉的筆肆意揮灑，將山水解構重組于畫布上。

此次在浙江美術館展出的“蒼莽氣象——洪凌個展”，由中國美術家協會油畫藝術委員會和中央美術學院造型學院共同主辦，知名策展人殷雙喜策展，將展出洪凌近幾年來的重要作品。藝術創作是藝術家心境的體現， 在當下文化如此浮躁的社會，我們也可將精神暫時抽離這個時空，靜靜地體會蒼莽大地帶給藝術家那擷取不盡的能量源泉。

Boundless Land -- Hong Ling Solo Exhibition

On the 6th day of May, “Boundless Land -Large-scale Hong Ling Personal Art Exhibition” will be held in Zhejiang Museum of Fine Arts. The word “Boundless” originated from “Come to Jieshi in the east to see boundless sea” is to describe the artistic concept of the work and the mindset of the artist when he was exploring for his unique art language.

Hong Ling, an artist born in the middle period of 1950s in the last century in a traditional scholar family, has gone through some turns of context. He has been edified by the great spirit of landscape in Huang Binhong’s traditional landscape paintings when he was a kid; he has made in-depth research and discussion on western art language as a student major in fine arts; later he was hesitating between oriental and western art languages. Hong Ling could not benefit from any modern oil painter and felt he had to start from nothing. During depressing journey to art, the artist moved from North China to South China and settled in South of Anhui alone. In company with nature and landscape, he deeply felt oriental culture once again and became steady, sensitive, so he further understood the real meanings of the spirit of landscape. During creation in South of Anhui for over 10 years, the art accomplishment of the artist has come to a new height. Now his works are not simple representation of the objects and phenomena. They are the images of the objects after sublimation in the brain. With “crazy talk”, the artist deconstructs and reorganizes the landscapes on the canvas with a “drunk” brush.

The “Boundless Land- Hong Ling Personal Art Exhibition” which is jointly sponsored by China Artists Association and School of Fine Arts, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, planned by Yin Shuangxi, a famous exhibition planner, and to be held in Zhejiang Museum of Fine Arts will present some important works of Hong Ling in recent years. Art creation is the reflection of the mindset of the artist, so in this busy society, we may get away from this space time temporarily mentally and feel endless energy source brought by the boundless land to the artist.
